Many years back ( when hubby and I were still dating, ha ha ) my mother-in-law introduced this dish to me when we went back for dinner. It's a Taiwanese friend of hers who taught her on how to cook it.
Ingredients :
1 medium fresh red tilapia fish ( deep fried till cooked and crispy )
1/2 cup great wall brand black vinegar
1/2 cup sugar ( you may add more sugar if you prefer less sour )
1/2 cup spring onions - chopped
Method :
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non stick pan.
Saute chopped spring onions in medium low heat till aromatic.
Add in vinegar and sugar, keep stirring and let it simmer for a while.
Pour sauce over fish and serve hot.
** Very very simple right? Trust me, it tastes very yummy.
