Soy Sauce Steamed Fish

This is one of my little girl's favorite steamed fish. Fish is soft and sauce is wonderful. She will scoop a lot of the sauce and mix it with her rice.
My FIL's simple recipe again. :-)

Ingredient :

1 palm size mayau fish
8 slices of fresh ginger
8 slices of garlic
1 stalk of spring onion - cut into 2 inch length
dash of sesame oil

Sauce :

2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine
3 tbsp water

Method :

Arrange ginger, garlic and spring onions on the plate.

Then, place fish on top and top the balance of ginger, garlic and spring onion onto fish.

Place into a preheated steamer and steam fish at high heat for 5 mins.

After that, pour in the sauce and steam fish for another 2 to 3 minutes.
( bigger and thicker fish will need more steaming time )

Voila, fish is done.
Add a dash of sesame oil onto fish.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
