Corn Soup

I still remember the first time I drank corn soup was when I had dinner in my sis's MIL's house. Well, I was surprised that corn can be used to boil a Chinese style soup at that time, haha.

Nowadays, I boil this soup often because my kids love it too. :) The natural sweetness from the soup just makes u crave for more!!

Ingredients :

1 large corn
1 large carrot
Size of a fist of pork loin or tenderloin
1.5 litre of water
1/2 tbsp salt or to taste

Method :

Bring water in a small pot to boil and add in pork loin. Continue to boil until all the scums from the pork rise to the surface. Remove pork and wash away all the scums.

Cut carrot and corn as above.

Put everything except salt into a pot and bring to boil.
Then, switch to low heat and boil for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Off heat and add salt.
Serve warm.
