Guinness Chicken

Gosh, my card reader spoilt and couldn't upload photos into my blog! Got to get hubby's help when it comes to computer gadgets.

Told hubby about it few weeks ago and he said he'll check on it. Okay... when he said he'll check on it, it means " U WAIT LAH "

Started digging up old entries kept inside my file. And this is one of them. A great recipe from Wendy as usual. :) ( with some modifications )

Ingredients :

2 chicken whole leg - deboned
100ml ( 1/4 cup ) guinness stout
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp light soy sauce
oil for frying

Marinate : ( Marinade chicken for at least 1/2 an hour )
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Method :

Preheat oil in a non stick wok and fry chicken till golden but not dry.
Dish up.

Discard frying oil and retain 1 tbsp oil in wok.
Add in stout and cook till sauce is reduced a bit. ( medium heat )

Then, add in sugar, soy sauce and chicken.

Cook and let it simmer turning chicken onto the other side after 2 minutes till gravy is almost dried up.

Dish up and let cool.

Then, chop chicken into serving size and drizzle sauce on top.
