Horlicks Doggie Cookies

My last project for CNY was doggie cookies. CNY was coming very near and was very busy preparing for it, so, didn't have time to post this.

And here it is, my doggie cookies for CNY. " Fragrant, cute and yummy "

Ingredients :

200g cake flour
25g corn flour
25g milk powder
( Sifted together )

80g Horlicks powder

Chocolate chips ( nose and embedded into cookie )
Chocolate rice ( eyes )
Coco krunch ( ears )

1 egg yolk
180g butter ( Golden Churn Butter )
15g caster sugar

Method :

Beat butter and sugar till creamy.

Add in egg yolk and beat till well incorporated.

Add in Horlicks powder, flour, milk powder and mix well.
( Do not overdone )

Weigh dough 10g each and shape into small round balls. ( I made smaller )
Decorate with coco krunch for ears, chocolate rice for eyes, 3 chocolate chips to be embedded into the cookie and 1 for the nose.

Bake at preheated oven for 25 mins at 150C.
( My oven took about 35 mins to 40 mins to bake )

And my little helper who helped me cutting the baking paper and decorating the little doggies. :)

*** Recipe adapted from Do What I Like. Thank you.  :)

  2. Ooo.. the cookies have a combination flavour of horlicks and chocolate. It does not have very strong horlicky smell because not much horlicks powder is used in the recipe. :P

Thanks for the kind comments, hehe.
