Red Snapper In Teriyaki Sauce

I am trying to cook more fish for my kids nowadays and started browsing through many bloggers' fish recipes. Saw this recipe in Wokkingmum's blog and decided to give it a try.

This dish turned out to be a success because hubby and princess loved it. Thanks for sharing. :)

Had red snapper, so I used red snapper instead of cod fish. :P

Ingredients :

red snapper - size of a palm
3 tbsp oil for shallow frying

Marinate : ( to marinate fish for at least 30 minutes )

1 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp wine
2 tbsp soy sauce

Method :

Preheat a non-stick pan with oil and fry fish in medium low heat till lightly burnt on both sides.

Pour away excess oil and pour in remaining marinate.
Cook till sauce thickens and coated onto both sides of the fish.
Dish up and serve hot.
