Steamed Pork Belly With Thai Fish Sauce

Was clueless on what to cook today, then suddenly got the idea of cooking steamed food instead. So, went to get the cookbooks that I bought.

With the pork belly sitting in my fridge, might as well cook something different than usual with it for dinner.

Ingredients :

250g pork belly ( skinless ) - cut into thin strips
Thumb size of old ginger - shredded
1 red chili - shredded

Seasoning :

1 tbsp shaoxing wine
1 tbsp water
1 1/2 tbsp thai fish sauce
1/2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp sesame oil

Method :

Mix pork belly, ginger, chili and seasoning together evenly.
Preheat steamer and steam over high heat for 15 minutes or till cooked.
Dish up and serve hot.

*** Quick and easy!!!
